Ibis Public Sector is seeking a Technical Writer to support the Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC) Operations Team by documenting, standardizing, and maintaining critical operational processes and procedures. This role ensures consistency, clarity, and accuracy across all documentation to improve efficiency, coordination, and alignment across cyber defense and incident response activities.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000-$93,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.

What You’ll Do
- Identify, analyze, and document existing processes used by cyber incident analysts to ensure institutional knowledge is captured, organized, and accessible.
- Develop, standardize, and maintain procedures, templates, and documentation that align with established best practices and organizational requirements.
- Collaborate with analysts and leadership to create and refine new processes as operational needs evolve.
- Establish and monitor the integration of new processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into ongoing workflows and existing operations.
- Ensure all documentation meets quality, clarity, and compliance standards.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex technical or operational information into clear, actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Who You Are
- Active DHS Top Secret Clearance required.
- Ability to be physically present for sensitive meetings in the National Capital Region (NCR).
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably within cybersecurity, IT, or other technical domains.
- Strong skills in process documentation, technical editing, and template development.
- Excellent written communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving mission requirements.
- Prior experience working in the Federal, DoD, or national security programs is strongly preferred.
